Isaac Mackenzie

Not much is known about Isaac Beresford Mackenzie except that he was a merchant and a partner in the firm Mackenzie Brothers, which owned a hardware store and served as iron and brass founders, engineers, blacksmiths, brickmakers, builders and contractors.

He was elected to the East London Town Council in July 1908 to represent Ward 4. He did not seek re-election after he retired on rotation in February 1909.
